Seymour played well last night. Can't say the same for Jamarcus.

if they keep running the ball and playing defense like that they will win 5-6 games, i think SD was sloppy but the Raiders played well, did you people watch the game?  ???

i wouldnt b surprised if any players kill themselves for bein on such a shit team
;D LMFHO! +1 on that.  If they're not a do it themselves kinda people, they can have somebody kill them for them in the streets of oakland late night on every weekend.  Hang out in the hood late at night. Messed up though, not supposed to be funny :(  If they were supposed to go 0-16 it shoulda happened 3 years ago but the Steelers chose to play a still injured Big Ben, & Zona team who's not sorry enough to go 0-16, but sorry enough to lose to someone that should go 0-16.  2006 & 1996.  The Lions have the best chance of going 0-32 even.  They're only winnable games are against the Rams & both Ohio teams.

oakland is a effing mess

and Daygostyle you know nothing about football...you can't have a running game without opening up the pass   (just ask the late Bill Walsh)

raiders got no passing game

LOL @ you claiming somebody knows nothing about football. Cant have a running game without opening up the pass?? WTF?!  Do you even watch football?  Are you gonna tell me its commonplace for teams to try and set up their running game with their PASSING game first? LOL!!!. Yes, because youo hear many an offensive coordinator say..."we gotta establish the pass"...not..."we gotta establish the run".  Man, you need to study up on the game.  You establish the run first, THAT opens up the passing game. Ask any coach, and OC, anyBODY lol.  There are rare occasions (Cardinals) where their running game is so bad and their passing game is so good that they HAVE to do the opposite. But thats completely unconventional and the reason they dont have a chance and making the Superbowl again. Go back to NFL 101 man...

giants = 9 titles in 80 years

raiders = 3 in 50 years

lol @ oakland fans on this forum, how delusional!

LOL at you trying to make your team seem like something its not. For one, the Giants have 3 Superbowl titles...same as us. The other "World Titles" that you talk about, were before the Raiders were even in the NFL...and how many teams were there? lol. You guys went 30 fuckin years without a "World Title", and were a bottom feeder for what....20 years?! lol. We've only been bad these last 6 yrs.  Before that, in 40 yrs we only had 7 losing seasons. lol Should we count how many the Giants had? We have a higher winning percentage all time then the Giants...oh, and btw we're 7-3 all time against the Giants.

i say there is a 25% chance that happens, which is pretty bad lol.

if they win any games it would be against the Cheifs, Bengals, Browns or Washington.

fuck that, we are gunna surprise some ppl this year, if it wasnt for one fluke ass touchdown we would be 1-0.

i said "if" the Raiders win any games it would be against the Bengals, i think based off of there schedule the Bengals are one of the weaker points.

If Oakland can get that passing game going and the play action, I like our chances. And to have Richard Seymour reek havoc like he did barely knowing the D plays and playing off instinct, he did a hell of a job. Raiders offensively had too many 3 N outs in that game against the Chargers. D was getting hella tired.

Man, I live in SD and damn near every charger fan Ive talked to said the same thing..."the better team didnt win the Raider/Charger game.". We completely bullied them that game. Our defensive line was too much for them, our secondary played man coverage all night and still the Chargers couldnt get open. Our offensive line (the weakspot according to everyone) just completely muscled the chargers d-line and linebackers. If we would have stuck with a run a little longer would have been good, cus we were shoving it down their throats in the first half.  Im not gonna say that bullshit call on the Murphy TD is the REASON we lost...but it sure did contribute to it.

fuck the raiders,but they are not as bad as you want them to be. they will not be 0-16,seasons 1 week old but a .500 record isnt unrealistic

A LITTLE UNREALISTC 5-11 ISNT THO...THEY CAN RUN THE BALL AND THERE DEFENSE LOOKS TOUGH...BUT RUSSELL'S FOOTWORK IS STILL TERRIBLE SO HE WILL KEEP MAKING MISTAKES AND THEY HAVE NO PLAYMAKERS AT WR, MILLER IS THE TE AND IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST WR...LEWIS AND BEY COULD STEP UP YOU NEVER KNOW BUT I WOULDNT COUNT ON THAT FOR A WHILE...BUT I WAS DEF IMPRESSED WITH THE RUN GAME AND THE DEFENSE, HAVE THOSE 2 THINGS YOU CAN ALWAYS COMPETE, I JUST DONT SEE THE RAIDERS BEING ABLE TO CLOSE OUT ENOUGH GAMES....I DO LIKE TOM CABLE HES DOING SOME GOOD THINGS FOR THEM AND THEY PLAY HARD FOR THEM

A lot of people are picking them to be somewhere around 7 or 8 wins. I can see that. The hard thing is that the AFC West is going against the NFC East this year. So our schedule really isnt that easy.  JaMarcus obviously still needs work, but watching that Monday night game...he was getting a lot of blame even when it wasnt his fault. The commentators agenda with JaMarcus was, "lets talk about his accuracy all night". But in reality, he had a few dropped balls by receivers, and a few times where receivers ran the wrong route on a timing route. Any QB in the league would miss them completely. Also, he seems to be more concerned with not making a mistake, then with making a great pass.  I think theyll be alright, but I also think Louis Murphy might emerge as the better of the two rookie receivers...at least at the beginning of their careers here.

read it again man. Im saying the AFC West plays the NFC East this year. You know that divisions play eachother right? Like the Raiders have to play the Giants, Cowboys, Redskins, Eagles this year...as does every other AFC West team. Im saying that because we go against the NFC East, our schedule will be a difficult one and that will make it harder to have a good season recordwise.
