dude will go down as the best athlete ever ...

depends on Tiger Woods & if he can win five or six majors.

Tiger has like 15 years left though, to Roger's 5? maybe 5.

2 or 3 while he can still dominate & win some majors.

best Tennis player of all time though. 8)

Federer's worst ever performance takes 100 times the athleticism the best Golf tournament off all time has. So as far as athletes go; Federer>>>>>>>>>>>>Woods any day of the week.

yeah, but Ed Reed anyday of the week >>>>>>>>> Federer, in terms of athleticism lol.

just because Golf doesn't require too much athletic skill, doesn't mean you're not concidered an athlete & there is no denying that Tiger is a top athlete of our time; just completely dominating his respective sport.

but in 25 years we will look back & it will come down to this ERA & will we debate Federer or Woods?

yep im a massive massive tennis fan. been watching it for 15 years, seen all the sampras years and the federer years. theres only 1 player who can beat federer and thats nadal. the del petro match is just about too start, if roger can get 60%+ of his first serves in his damm near unplayable.

roger has contested 17 of the last 18 grand slam finals and has reached 22 straight grand slam semi-finals. theres no way an athlete in an individual sport can beat that, i mean can you really beat that?

alot of people talked about the federer forehand was the shot that went missing when federer had his little wobble career wise last year but i actually think when his backhand is ticking thats the key, so long as his neutral with his backhand and can work points to his forehand i dont think theres anyone who can play him. also del potro hits his groundstrokes off each wing very flat which is ideal for federer, its the topsin to his one handed backhand (which nadal has perfected) that gives him trouble, especially on hard courts as the ball bounces higher.

he takes the first set 6-3, with only hitting like 35% of his first serves in. :o

^^ yep thats what i mean his making the no.6 in the world look average with getting less then half of his 1st serves in. if he serves around 60% his unplayable. i think del potro is playing with a few nerves at the moment, this next set is crucial. especially as del potro serves 1st. del potro needs to come to the net more but its hard to work your way into points against fed.

yeah i'm a big fan..he's great no doubt..i just wonder how good his competition is..the rest of the guys r garbage.. neither Roddick or Blake can get it crackin against him..A prime Pete was the same way but Andre always found a way to steal one here and there.

it's bothering me how poor he is serving.

this wouldn't even be a competition if he was serving better.
