L.A.X. was gonna be "highly controversial"

Well... where is the controversy? Only controversy this shit got was that it didn't live up to the hype

He does what most artist do when they promote - talk alot of shit.
Cool breeze; I'm hopping out of new Beams
My outfit ran me a few G's but none of that will matter if you leave
I used to be an Adam with two Eves and shawtys automatically do me
Excuse me, all that happened before you doesn't matter
I'm a vision of the future climbing the success ladder

It did (sorta). The My Life Single generated Controversy, but he changed the proof reference so any listeners wouldn't think he is dissing proof. Other then that no controversy at all.

The only controversy you could try and pull out is the fact he sold out on the sound, and literally gave into the mainstream. Tracks like Money are a good example. IMO his worst album. I like it but god damn I can't believe he could fuck up this bad after 2 great ones.

You can say he sold out on songs like money, but it still has that westcoast feel too it.  I dont know how you can state a sellout when its pretty much his own creative process and doesnt fit the mold of most "pop" albums today.

I didn't even know rappers can sell out.  Most don't follow that kind of logic .

I mean the closest I've heard is a complete contradiction in material.  For example. Common criticizing others and then years later making material that's obviously his attempt at party music.
