2PAC & SNOOP DOGG - Radio Interview Question ??
« on: September 21, 2009, 04:39:41 PM »
Does anyone have the audio of Snoop's interview on an East Coast radio station from the late 90's (Hot 97 ?), where Snoop basically stated he had no problems with the East Coast and wanted to work with certain people 2Pac had problems with ? This interview ended up causing tension between the two.
Always wanted to hear the full interview.
Thanks...

I always wondered where snoop's career would be if pac wouldve lived (and possibly dissed him). Snoop is a cocky fucker and has been for years now but when pac was around he was always standing in the background lookin shook

snoop ain't cocky....he is a humble dude.....but there was that one pic...where he looks real shook...thats for sure.

he is just a night club entertainer that has had a rollercoaster of a career....thats all he is.

Makes since now after all these years why Snoop was looking real salty and mad...and wasn't saying much in that Mtv footage...he basically snaked Pac and was probably forced by Suge to be at that interview...smh
Everybody is wondering what Barack is going to do for us for the next 8 years, what are you going to do for yourself the next 8 years?

Snoop spoke about the tension between him and 2Pac on one of the Juan Epstein pod-casts as well.

He said that the shooting at the "New York, New York" set really caused all the trouble. Him and the Pound were upset with the shooting, but didn't want to reteliate or something like that - they got over it pretty quickly. But 2Pac took it way more serious than the other guys and wanted them to do some diss songs and sent some shots at NY. But Snoop and the others never really had an issue with east coast artists, so they declined. That's what brought up tension between the two.

2Pac felt that Snoop and the Pound left him high an dry when he was protecting their back before.

We've heard Kurupt diss Bad Boy. Not just that NY187 track but on "Don't Stop" you can hear him screamin "bad boy killa" in the background.

But I'm not understanding how anyone can not only say snoop isn't cocky but to call him humble? Wtf? Read that interview on dubcnn where he went in on daz and warren g. Or other interviews where he dissed goldie and kokane AFTER they came back to him. I don't understand why most of the dpgs (mainly soopafly) are still sniffin up his ass after all these years

If Pac had lived, he wouldn't have been nearly as hero-worshipped as he has become. People generally only come around to appreciating great artists when they are no longer here. Snoop's career would have been fine.

Naw dude snoops always been honest about his and pacs fall out. Most in hi hop woulda not admitted that. Like suge, who PAC knew was not his friend at the end. Snoop was a man and stood his ground. I think PAC would be calln snoop unc right now . Rem snoop was a big part in PAC goin to tha row.

God how old are some of you guys?

Snoop was doing well before Pac and he would still be doing well if Pac was alive!

They are 2 different artist with 2 different styles!

The beef with Biggie and East Coast was solely Pac's beef and Snoop was his own man and did not want to get involved!

How is that hard to digest? A man choose his own battle and he made a decision not to get involved!

Snoop is street smart and a hustler and he is still here and making his papers...Simples

Sometimes I think all that stuff is for publicity. Always hearing about who is mad at who east coast vs. west coast, on and on. We all tuned in to find out and they make the money. Smart!
