Wow another horror remake, surprise surprise. This one's got potential though. Michael Bay is everywhere, lol.

Possibly include him in a Cameo. lol Honestly should have him burn Freedy in the beginning, so its sorta like a Pass THe Torch Moment.

But anyways, chances are this will suckass like all the other remakes. Hollywood can't do shit right. I mean shit only good movies are either Comic Book Movies and maybe 1 or 2 non-comic book. I think the former is only good cause Comic Studios actually have to create a good story, cause its reading. Were as Hollywood studios believe you add enough special effects, and enough sex appeal that it will compensate for inferior dialog, acting, pacing, and anything else that is shitty.

^ That's because most horror movies these days are made to suit people in their young teens, they gobble that shit right up.

Looks like it might be a direct remake?
Judging by some of those scenes.....Could easily be the OG Nightmare 1+2 combined (Condensed)

I'll watch the OG's & wait for this.

This actually looks pretty cool.  I was originally very skeptical as well, of a Robert Englund-less "Nightmare on Elm Street," but I think Jackie Earle Haley (Rorschach from Watchmen) is good casting.  I like his "Freddy voice" in the trailer, although I'm less sure about the Freddy makeup in this one.  It looks like a bit of a departure.  I'll reserve judgement on that though until I see a little more of it, and from different angles.  The new glove looks pretty cool.  I'm definitely looking forward to see how this turns out.
