What the West Coast really needs is a representitive
« on: September 30, 2009, 08:07:44 PM »
You know, someone thats capable of holding us down on the mainstream singles and posse cuts. It sucks that we didn't have anyone able to get on a song like "We Takin Over". But if we had to have one cat to be that commercial face for us, who could be our T.I. / Lil Wayne?

Fuck that. What the west needs is for rappers to start dropping dope albums instead of waiting to make it big.

does this have to be a new school kinda artist? cause in terms of the west, none have made any kind of impression on a much wider audience. the game is the closest thing, but overall people know snoop and xzibit. the latter is hopefully coming back soon with some fresh new music soon.

and while crooked i continues to get props and be recognised by people all over as a serious rapper, there's absolutely no excuse why he hasn't got bigger things in the pipeline. and treacherous records is not a real pipeline.

They need to work together to create hot albums, classics if possible in order to enable them to have individual success. The Chronic - pushed the careers of Kurupt, Snoop, Daz the entire DPG, Warren G as well.

We need another young bunch of young talented artists to develop something creative enough to make an impact. Crooked I & Eastwood have good Chemistry together. Game has the name, and leverage to help commercially. Alchemist is still young yet. There are a ton of young West artists with talent they could put on a combined project to open eyes

He must have been in his early/mid 20's when he was working with Nas, so I'd take a wild shot and say he's in his early 30's
