The prince and the princess
« on: October 14, 2009, 08:06:53 AM »
On the tenth night
In the Lunar Month of Shaban
A prince had become a beggar
As he hid on the outskirts of the Euphraties
his child runs to him frightened
as the vicotorious enemy approaches in the horizon
Relentless in their pursuit to kill the last remaining member
Of the Royal family
Hastily he recieves his child
It will take a while

Crossing the expanse of a Sahara so vast
Carrying a fallen kingdom upon my back
What my mother didn't teach me
The world will soon teach
Wieght of world on my shoulders
Hear I am only 20 years deep
no sense of smell, blind in one eye
only family member left
Dynasty defeated severely in the East
My only hope is to head West
But never will I stumble or falter
in my quest to find the Rock of Gibralter

poem...

The traveller sets off on a journey
As the sun sets on the desert
Travelling at night will be best

Each night the sun falls into the ocean
Where it stays for the nights duration
Each morning the sun rises
Still wet from it's plunge
By mid-day it has dried
The sun is too hott for travel
I rest my head...

and Dream...

watch out for sandstorms
lead thorns
my fam morns
on families torn
one day I'll Tell God
On how my life was hard
One day I'll reach the priest
Or let fortune teller feel my crease
In these hands sun has pealed
talkin to past selfs
conversations help
So I stay real
I ask him how to deal
My enemies approachin
As I reach the oasis of ocean
Water cools I see my reflection
The mystery was me
The enemy from within

******************************

I listened to the wise man
He told me there's danger
Upon the colorful horizon
There's are many lions to slay
Many castles to defend
And a devil to decieve you
Just before you reach the end
But stay strong you can win
For beyond that lyes the princess
But I dare not speak her name
Show no fear when you meet her
Or else she will fade away
Give her your love
All your love, no less
Speak softly in all you say
lest she may fade away

Now recount to me all I have said

When the strong sandstorm comes
Draw your turban upon your face
Cover up and lay low
The storm will soon pass away

When I enter the city of knowledge,
Put down my spear for hunting
make myself again as a child
Or else will learn nothing

There is a man there to teach me,
They are going to say he's bad,
but know, that good is he
Learn all from him that is to be had

Go forward relentless
don't look back at the storm's eye
Stay focused on my princess
If love is my destination
Then love will be my giude

Be brave my son
For what I did not teach you
World will soon teach
When you reach the edge of the
