The unreleased Soopafly song is worth the 45.00 alone.  Everything else you are getting are bonus tracks, just look at it that way.  I hope they put the video for "Like It Or Not" on there.

On a side note, does anyone know if WideAwake can release unreleased 2Pac video footage, or does that have to go through Afeni too?  As I'd love to see the "Toss It Up" beach version video on the DVD, as well as the full video of Made Niggaz, as I think the one on Death Row Uncut was cutoff towards the end.  And I think there's an unreleased All About U video with the third clean solo Pac verse on there instead of the Top Dogg stuff they put on the original.

It would be cool if they could added a Bonus DVD for the upcoming "Pure 2Pac" album with unseen Tupac footage but I don't think they can release some without Amaru's permission..

As far as the videos goes - I think all of them had leaked including the solo version of "All About U" which can be found here:  :)

To me, the fact that we're getting unreleased Crooked I, Soopafly, LBC Crew, Danny Boy, and Kurupt tracks make it worth the price to me.  Do I think they could have made this set better?  Yeah.  I don't really care about the T-shirt or the inclusion of the already released tracks.  Bottom line is, if you don't think it's worth the money, don't buy it.  This is only one project.  If this set isn't "your cup of tea,"  maybe their next project will be.

i will support this, over 20 unreleased tracks for 45 dollars = great deal.

Since when has a new 23 track album been worth $45? I thought you americans payed about $9 average for a new album. I think you need to get your dick out of Suge's and Wide awake's arses.

lol wtf? Suge doesn't got jackshit 2 do with this euro fag.

Oh god, not you with the euro fag shit too. Suge was the owner of the record company so i'm sure he loves Suge too.

lmao trust me, only guy who only loves Suge is that Biggiesy untouchable guy (used 2 have his pic in his sig 3 TIMES at once ffs). During the 1990s sure, post - 1997 lol no one is riding for him now. Considering he Signed Realest, Top Dogg, VK, and never released any albums lol

Well, it still doen't tak away the fact that the Giesuz guy is a Deat Row freak. He said the only three albums he bought this year is a Death Row greatest hits collection, Chronic Re-Lit and that new Snoop. I don't think the guy actually listens to anything else.

Yeah, next project is supposed to be "females of Death Row" or something like that.  I imagine they'll have Rage, Jewell, hopefully some Paradise tracks, Lady V, Left Eye, Michelle, VK, etc.  Should be decent, although this is the release i'm least excited about as I doubt Soopafly will be on this, as he didn't work with any of the Death Row hoes, he only banged them.  I'm sure all the death row usuals (Snoop, DPG, etc) will have guest spots on it, so that'll make it worth buying.  Hopefully they'll put "And Itz On - Snoop and Rage" on this one, as I can't imagine what else they'd be saving this song for.

kinda seems like that ladies of dr project may stall since there's legal drama with left eye's camp.  her material is probably the most marketable, even though it's all straight trash.

lara should cut to the chase and drop a rage album instead of focusing on second stringers so much.

you're right that there's a lot of criticism going on but i think that's just because this material has been so long in the coming that people just want to see it done right after all this time.  it would have been great if the snoop came out a month or two later and was executed better.  the box set seems rushed again so i hope the same mistakes aren't continued.  unfortunately if the cover is on amazon and the release is right around the corner it has probably already been sent for production.

Yeah.  I could see that release having the potential of being really good or really shitty.  It just depends on which female artists they include and what the ratio is of rap tracks to r n' b tracks.  If they include a decent amount of unreleased Lady of Rage tracks, it could be pretty good.  VK seemed  to be pretty good too.  I wouldn't mind hearing a few more tracks from her.  I'll admit though, I'm not real excited for this release either.  The 2pac album will be out next year.  If they make good track selections and don't "remix" them as promised, that could be a nice project.

I really hope the put a couple of tracks from Paradise on the ladies of death row album (if there are any in the vault).  Her 2 songs from the Above The Rim soundtrack and the Gang Related soundtrack were both bangin.

Well lots of people here are fans of the original material because the newer material is commercialized and isn't as good (I'm not saying it out right sucks). Me myself I only bought 2 albums This entire year. Then again I'm broke and can't buy everything, so I have to pick which albums to get. By the end I'd only end up with about 5 or less. I mean I stole my III Temples of boom CD cause I loved the first 2 so much. It took me about 2 years to actually get a hold of another 2pac album (I had his first). Just no money to waste. So if all the shit I buy is some old school death row shit, doesn't mean I'm riding for Suge. I'm hoping 2 cope the Boxset in 2010.

I mean lol I remember when I first bought the N.W.A CPT album, first album I coped, Then I was able 2 get The Chronic and 2pacalypse now. I had those for 3 years before I could get anything new or even hear anything new. I had no internet at the time, So when I buy It better be Dope shit. I remember wanting 4 ever 2 listen to 2001. When I finally did (I found a fucked up scratched up Disk) I put it in and I enjoyed even though every song was fucked up, and about 5 of them didn't work. 5 months alter I finally got a good version.

The fact they want to make me repay for tracks I already have is basically wasting money to me. Hell I can't even get 5 together, wtf makes them think I'm a get 50 so I can rebuy something? Fuck that.  This snoop Purchase fucked me up. Nothing but alternates, unfinished tracks. They got to be joking, they telling me between 1992-1997 He only made about 4 finished tracks??? Fuck that. I'll still buy it, cause Honestly I can't listen 2 this new shit.

Motherfuckers talking about a club and money, mother fucker fuck a club and fuck your money.

I wish WIDEawake would get off this kick about compilations. Not everything has to be a compilation. They're sitting on an albums worth of CPO and they put 2 of those tracks on Chronic Re-Lit. They have the entire Black Diamond album by Jewell and they put the title track on the boxset. If they have enough tracks by one artist, they should make an album of that one artist. The tracks that don't fit or they don't have enough material of that one artist should then go on a compilation.

Couldn't agree more.  I think a lot (though definitely not all) of the "Say Hi To The Bad Guy" material has already leaked too.  So, I hope they put out his "Untouchable" album first.  But either one would be great to hear.  I'm wondering though if Wideawake is willing to take the risk right now of releasing an album from one of their lesser-known artists.  Granted, he probably is more known now than he's ever been with the Slaughterhouse project in stores.

all u hoes bitch and suck dick all day and everyday on here.  when are some of y'all ever going to get the fuck off or just stay away from posting.  i respect anybody's outlet but alot of ya'll r just flat out addicted.  shit is sad.  either buy the greatest hits with the new white guy on the cover or just leave it alone.  how did someone showing off a picture turn into two pages of people tryna work shit out.

It wouldn't bother me if DeathRow's Greatest Hits and The Chronic and All Eyez On Me and Doggystyle released 1000000000 times over and over again.  Tha music can last forever.  WA isn't thinking about catering the the casual or die hard middle aged and near middle aged fans from way back.  Just bcuz we have all of this music and have repetitivly have had this music on play doesn't mean everybody else in the world has.

And besides all black music eventually gets raped and washed away and faded outta society anyways.  look at the 2Pac catalog or look at the media coverage of Michael Jackson's death (<- more stories about the bullshit rape case than everything else,,, why bring it up all of the time in every show on every network at every opportunity.... that's not a question).  And once Stevie dies you'll hear about him for a week or two and then it's all jokes on Stevie and then he's forgotten until some award show comes on and then everybody remembers again and then forgotten.

and some1 get these old ass fools off this board (this isn't a place where u can hang out and recapture your youth or some place you can just go 2 and get away, that's what they have bars for).  it's makin me really not wanna be a fan of Hip Hop in my most sincere words if all it's gonna b iz abuncha old pricks who talk shit all day with limp dicks.  "oooh i got this back in 91'" or "i remember when people first heard this in 89'" or "nigga what 96' was the last real year for music", nigga dont nobody give a fuck about ur i like to dream about gettin paid ass.  im sorry but my generation wasn't lost or left behind bcuz we replaced 2Pac with Drake or Tag Team with The New Boyz or King for Obama.  i can't c it and the millions of other followers tweetin' and facebookin' and buying out concerts feel the same way.  stop telling me the quality of music was better back then and always will be.  i mean it's not like anything is gonna happen anyway so just deal with it and stop denyin the temptations of my peers, y'all know y'all wanna b like us.
