How do you rate nas discography?
« on: October 18, 2009, 09:26:16 PM »
For me...

Illmatic 10 out of 10.Perfect album start to finish.
It was written 8 out of 10.Good album bordering on classic but a few mis steps.
I am...8 out of 10.Good album, gets over looked I feel. Some classic songs on this one.Undying love is an amazing story track and nas is like is timeless.
Nastradamus.5 out of 10.Easily nass worst album. You owe me my money back.
Stillmatic.10 out of 10.Maybe one weak song, but with tracks like poison, got urself a gun,one mic etc its a classic.
Gods son.8. out of 10.Solid follow up with only a couple of weak tracks.
Lost tapes.9 out of 10.Some true gems in here
Streets disciple.6 out of 10.Like most rap double albums it should have been made into one strong disc
Hip hop is dead.9 out of 10.Almost perfect, the theme is great and the production is very fitting.
Untitled.8 out of 10.Another strong album, couple of weak tracks but again the theme is great.

Illmatic: 10/10..1 of my favorite rap albums of all time.
It Was Written: 9.5/10..anyone who rates it lower than a 9 criminally slept on it 'cause it followed up "illmatic"
I Am: - 9/10..my personal favorite Nas album..I bump it the most..
Nastradamus: - 6/10..shit was straight disappointing
Stillmatic: 9.5/10..came back with a classic..right up there with "I Am" for my personal favorite Nas album..
God's Son -  6.5/10..didn't fuck with a lot of the joints on here..
Street's Disciple - 4/10..his worst album..frisbee..
Hip-Hop Is Dead - 8/10..not on the classic level some portray it is, but still dope..
Untitled - 8.5/10..strong effort..better than HHID

Probably the best Discography ever 8) imagine if the original double-album version of I Am... didn't leak, he probably would of had 3 straight classics, Nastradamus probably wouldn't have dropped, actually would've been 4 straight classics if you add Stillmatic :D

People just seem to overlook Nas (i'm not saying he's underatted, calm down) to an extent simply because he's never had massive mainstream success on the level of Jay :-X Personally it doesn't bother me, i'd rather take a dope album cut than some cheesy pop single
