Went out in Northampton a month or so back, usually its good but last time it was shit. I think it was because uni hadnt started so the only people about seemed to be chavs.

I can't see why they can't charge the promoter/artist for the cost of having a couple cops at the venue and then allow it. If people start fighting they get their names taken and they get some ASBO type thing for music events. If caught at a show they face prison. Or something along those lines.
