Funeral

Sittin here, scared stiff, barely wana move,
Family, surrounding me, a tragedy, ensued,
Tears cold against my skin, heart bleeds like a wound,
Everybody packed in, my church, st.andrews,
Brother crying on Dads shoulder,
Mother, I can't hold her,
How can I hug her when my touch is so frozen?
Scene is all set, suits are all pressed, flowers and headrests, name still nameless,
Pain is painless, I smile so faintly,
See my Godson, first time in ages, so sorry,
I'm alone, amoungst tears, alone wit thoughts,
An I feel so dead, like a corpse,
Of course, it not me there, layin, between 4 walls,
Cos I'm coughin an sneezin, in stalls this place so small,
Kinda closin in, a lot this don't make sense,
Willis person be ghostly, cum back like 6th sense?
I don't know, again... I can feel the pain,
The mood around me's a November rain,
Familys all here, like a Christmas day,
But they don't seem to notice me... Anyway,
I grasp myself so tightly, 1st speaker is Mum,
Deliver's her speech so proudly, am a proud son,
But Dad starts cryin, I give him a pat,
But my hand just seems to fall flat, what's that?
I'm lookin down, around me, vision is cloudy,
I'm dressed so smartly, but makeup on me?
I never did this, who did this too me?
Then it hits me, so quickly, who me?
I get up and walk to the altar,
No halt there! Stop it! Quit walkin! The service! You're interuptin! No nothin!
I stop at the coffin, I peep in,
Get the shock of my life, its me inside, sleepin,
My funeral....
