Quote
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Larry Johnson's record-breaking career as a Kansas City running back is over.

The Chiefs confirmed Monday that they had run out of patience with his off-the-field problems and released Johnson the day he was due to come back from his second suspension in a year.

a team should pick him up ASAP.

imagine if the Pats got him! :o

with that offense being as strong as it has gotten & that defense being one of the best in the league; i'd take the risk & see if Larry can put some nice stats up for you.

maybe all he needed was a change of scenery.

He'll get picked up soon. At least a bad team with some cap space can sign him. I sure as hell hope the Patriots don't get him.

it depends how desperate he is.

if he wants work, i can see him in uniform, on the field next week; but if he holds out he might have to sit out.

he should find a small one year deal for some pocket change, try to prove he is still a force in the backfield & gain that paycheck next season.

too much of an asshole with a serious attitude problem. His skill isn't good enough to make it worth putting up with.

He can find a place no problem if he just shuts up but find a good situation for him might be tough. That's why I see the Pats being the only team worth a damn to try him out. The Colts could use him but don't ever bother with those type of players and the Steelers, Vikings, Saints, Bengals, etc don't need him.
