Raptalk.Net: Talk to us about “Knoc’s Life.”

Michelle “Knoc-turn’al” Harbor: I’m sure you guys have the run down about his early life and how he grew up in Long Beach.

I met Knoc-turn’al in 1991; it’s been a long time. (Laughs) We had met at a church youth camp type thing. His aunt was making him go and I went with a friend of mine. We met at that church camp. (Laughs) I’m gonna’ tell you all the nitty gritty about the situation. He had approached me and asked me if I had a boyfriend, but he asked if he could get my number first! I told him I had a boyfriend and he said he didn’t care; he just wanted to get my number (laughs). I didn’t give him my interview though. At the church camp, we talked and both of us were up there doing little swimming and other activities. (Laughs) We were drinking and hanging out, sneaking off in the woods. We spent a lot of time together talking about different things in life and what we wanted to do in life. We were supposed to be hiking with the rest of the camp but we were off by a stream (laughs). After spending time talking together for a couple of days, we ended up hooking up after the church camp. I really didn’t have a boyfriend at the time, I was just making it up because I didn’t wanna’ give him my number (laughs). We ended up hooking up and have been together all of these years. 1991 until now; that’s quite a while.

Raptalk.Net: 18 years.

Michelle “Knoc-turn’al” Harbor: I was 15 at the time and he had just turned 18. I had lied, told him I was 16 about to be 17 (laughs). Once I started to get to know him and like him, I felt like wow, he is a cool dude with a head on his shoulders. He wasn’t stupid like a lot of other guys. One day my mom had busted me out about only being about to turn 16 (laughs). She thought he was going to break up with me. I ended up telling him my real age when we had been talking for about six months at this point, right before I was about to turn 16. I told him I loved him. We worked out about my age.

Raptalk.Net: I was one years old.

Michelle “Knoc-turn’al” Harbor: Are you kidding? At that time, you were only one?

Raptalk.Net: in 1991, I was one years old.

Michelle “Knoc-turn’al” Harbor: Oh wow, that makes me feel bad and old (laughs). I was about 15 at the time.

Knoc-turn’al: We old!

Michelle “Knoc-turn’al” Harbor: Yep! Knoc has been through a lot. He’s toured and seen a lot of places. He’s traveled to many different countries and performed in the time that he’s been making music. He’s done a lot of things and strives to do more.

Knoc-turn’al: You recording Lunatic?!?

Raptalk.Net: I’m recording, motha fucka!

Knoc-turn’al: (Laughs) you better be Luna!

Alfredo: Luna?

Raptalk.Net: Lunatic! How are you doing Fred?

Alfredo: Oh ye. I’m living, still out here on the west breathing. I just heard some gunshots, but we’re cool (laughs).

Raptalk.Net: How did you meet Knoc?

Alfredo: I was across the street doing my job cleaning swimming pools. Knoc was in his car and we came at each other kind of tough; weapons were pulled, but no fire (laughs).

Raptalk.Net: How long have you known Knoc?

Alfredo: A long time. 7 years probably.

Raptalk.Net: So you were around for the whole “the Way I Am” album. What was that like?

Alfredo: It was normal to me. I didn’t trip off it. It was a cool experience. This one time, I went with Knoc to go do a show and the car broke down on the way. We still got there, rocked the show and then were leaving. People tried starting a riot and shit because Knoc was a surprise guest.

Raptalk.Net: I know Knoc is a funny motherfucker, so what’s the funniest thing you’ve ever seen him do?

Alfredo: Throw a sausage at a Jack in the Box employee (laughs).

Raptalk.Net: (Laughs hysterically) wait….what?

Alfredo: I watched him take a sausage out a sandwich and throw it at a Jack in the Box employee.

Raptalk.Net: (Laughs) And why did he do that?

Alfredo: It’s against the rules of his religion. He can’t eat sausage. He gets offended. He did what any black baby would do. He acted like he was slapping his girl or some shit (laughs). He asked for no sausage and they put it in there anyways. So we drove back around the drive through, ordered more food and when they opened the window, he threw the sausage at the guy working the window (laughs).

Raptalk.Net: (laughs) and what’s the craziest thing you’ve seen him do?

Alfredo: I saw him pull the burner out on my neighbors (laughs). I came out like what the fuck are you both doing? I’m the referee.

Raptalk.Net: Any crazy partying stories?

Alfredo: We were barbequing once in the backyard of a mansion and we had already downed a box of 60 swishers. We’re playing blackjack and Knoc was the dealer. We were playing with a bunch of rich people and I ended up taking the whole house’s money. One of our homies named Key, we call him T-Pain ‘cause he looks like T-Pain and shit (laughs), he smoked all our kush! That nigga fell out like it was that “make you go def” shit Dave Chapelle was talking about (laughs). He was on the table snorting, looked all the chips off the table and everything. We were clowning on that motherfucker all night. That was a pretty good night. We rocked a show, went through 90 blunts and Key passed out. Motherfuckers were tripping.

Raptalk.Net: In terms of rocking shows, what’s been your favorite?

Alfredo: All of them (laughs). They’ve all been different.

Raptalk.Net: What do you think of the new music?

Alfredo: I love that shit. That shit is insane. I got all that shit on my motherfuckin’ IPod touch; nothing but Knoc. I play that shit all day. I even got the new music that you’ll probably never hear. I got hella’ shit. I probably got shit Knoc doesn’t even remember. There are so many. I think I got 1,300 Knoc songs on there. The world doesn’t know what they’re missing.

Lunatic you're my dude and all but stop with the Knoc stories. When he drops a new song / mixtape / album fine but other than that, I really don't need to know everytime he wipes his ass.

Lol don't take it so seriously guys. It was just a spur of the moment light hearted feature when we were all on the phone. It's not to be taken seriously. That's why I didn't even throw it in the "interviews" section on Raptalk.

Damn, girls are shady. See I would've quit it after the girl wouldn't give me her number or lied about having a boyfriend. But that's crazy she ended up being the one.

It's not supposed to be a prevlege. I'm not bragging about it. I'm shooting down your dumb assumptions and you don't know how to handle that, Your clearly not getting the point. If it was up to Knoc, his album would drop tomorrow.
