St. Louis’ own Keith “Kay L” Leonard is an electrifying talent who is certain to be the next megastar to rise up from the Midwest.  His hit song “Go To Work” exposed his talents on Power 106 in Los Angeles, 100.3 The Beat & Hot 104.1 in St. Louis, Power 92.3 in Chicago, and various satellite radio stations.  This mega-hit was also featured on the Fox Television show ‘So You Think You Can Dance.’  

Aside from radio exposure, he has been involved with numerous mixtapes, which exposed his music to other markets.  The phenomenon known as Kay L is sure to blast off with the emergence of his newest mixtape, ‘Black Rose’, which was released by DJ Ill Will and DJ Rock Star of West Coast Grind Radio.  

Dubcnn had the recent opportunity to speak with Kay L recently.  In this exclusive interview with the young St. Louis phenom we talk about his appreciation of the west coast, working with west coast legend DJ Quik, what his plans are for the future, and so much more!
