The thing that goes into the harddisk has one of the 4 steel pins broken off.
^It did work for like 2 years without it =/
Files are probally intact.WHen I got this laptop I used the harddisk to get all my files back, When My laptop broke it wouldn't connect anymore to my laptop. Then I had to use my dad's computer for a while where he did work untill my dad pulled out the cable (Ironically the same day I got my ipod back =/). Since I needed music on my ipod I decided to connect it to my old computer, here it worked again (probally still works). Now that I got my laptop back I still can't connect it.
^yes on multiple computers even.Even a different usb-harddisc cable. It stopped working after I pulled the calbe out when on I belief.
