Tech N9ne and Pac....?? No

Warren G did some beats for Pac

uhhh...yeah

Thugz get lonely too

The legitimacy of that 2Pac and Tech N9ne track could probably be viewed, either way.  It just depends on how you want to look at it.  2Pac and Tech N9ne had met each other before, and supposedly, had talked about collaborating on something in the future.  Pac had already passed away when Tech N9ne's vocals were added to that song though.  So they didn't actually record it together.  But I believe it is an official remix, so I think it just depends on how you want to look at it.  I would consider it official.  But maybe some wouldn't since it was put together after Pac passed.

I think its legit.Id say around 80 percent of collabos on songs are track where rappers didnt record in the same place.Just because someone didnt record in the same room doesnt mean it isnt a collabo.

Personally, I would agree with that too.  I just think some people might not agree.  On the other hand, it's difficult to know where exactly one should draw the line, because strictly adhering to that rationale would mean that you'd also have to acknowledge every pop artist whose ever appeared on any crappy Amaru remix as being a legitimate collaboration.  I guess you could make the argument that in this particular instance it's different because Pac had actually met Tech N9ne. But  I have to admit, part of the reason I consider the "Thugs Get Lonely Too" an actual collaboration boils down to the fact that I like Tech N9ne's music.

I think the fact tech and 2pac were friends makes it legit. In my opinion anyway.

Yeah.  And thinking about it, that particular track was done before different people started going crazy with all of the 2pac remixes too.

do you have an interview where tech says he didn't record w/ pac?  I believe that he recorded it while pac was still alive...
