"DPGC: U Know What I'm Throwin Up" is a great album. In my top 3 Daz Dillinger albums for sure.

It's highly slept on and I think that the beef with Kurupt was a turn off to a lot of people, but musically it was a great project.

Yeah, Daz recycled some old lyrics though but the beats was BANGIN! Too many skits on it though.

skimmed through the album a while ago for the first time in years.  All the Snoop interludes made it into a 30+ track cd.  The one that had leaked before was a solid cd though.

Are you sure he doesn't have this entire track list, because I've heard it rumored that a few people including Kronik have this...

1- Nobody Understands Me
2- Crook In Me feat. Nate Dogg
3- Titties N Ass
4- Crooks N Doggs feat. Snoop Dogg
5- Gangstas Ride
6- Knock Knock Knock
7- Young Ryda
8- I Ain't The One
9- Livin' In The Hood
10- Ain't Lovin' No Rat
11- Cold Game
12- Niggaz Got Game
13- You Ain't The Homie feat. Dogg Pound

I know a lot of it leaked, but not in CDQ. Additionally, I'm pretty sure there are a few on there that Wide Awake did not obtain.

I suppose you'd have to take this with a "grain of salt" but it was posted on the Dynasty Entertainment Message Board a few years ago (you could probably still find the post if you use the search function) that Kronik not only had the cd, but was willing to sell copies of it for $40.00 each.  I believe this was after Kronik had had a falling out with Daz and had left as moderator from the DPG Recordz website.  I remember the person who posted this saying that according to Kronik, most of the cd wasn't very good and all of the best tracks had already leaked.  I actually tried e-mailing Kronik about it years ago, but never got a response.  So I don't know for sure if it's true or not.
Again, I'm not stating this as fact.  This was just something that was posted on the message board back in the day.  I did remember thinking when I read the original message that the person who posted it seemed to be on the level.  But who knows.

I refuse to believe that considering that the tracks that DID leak are some of the best Crooked I songs I've ever heard. If the others that we haven't even heard a snippet of are anything CLOSE to that, I think it's close a perfect album. Of course that's my opinion.

Now as far as the $40 thing goes, I totally remember that situation now. It's possible that he did sell it to some people, but maybe only a trusted few. However, why do I remember some people getting ripped off... I could be wrong.

I found the original post from the dynasty entertainment forums for those who want to see it...

Kronik: How Come No Crooked I? I have the original Crooked I tape. It is 13 tracks. I have leaked to the public all the good tracks on the album. Trust me, my taste is yours. The reason the album was never released was because it was never good. The album is intensely garbage. If you're a hardcore Crooked I fan and want the CD, e-mail me at theksp@gmail.com. I will need 40 dollars paypal'd to me. I will then send you a copy of the CD.

Still don't know for sure if this was on the level, but I think it's possible.  Oh and while I was searching for that post, I found part of an old interview dubcnn conducted with Daz around November, 2004 where they asked him about the DPG Recordz "Say Hi to the Bad Guy."  Here that is...

dubcnn.com: Are you still planning to put out that Crooked I Say Hi To The Bad Guy DPG Version?

Fuck nah! I'm put it for download for free!

dubcnn.com: For real?

Yeah! Shit, and it's gone be on DPG Recordz! Speakin' of websites, DPG Recordz is goin' cool, but I'm comin' wit DazDillinger.net!

If only Daz had actually done this.   :'(

Oh, and for the record, I doubt that those Crooked I tracks are really bad either, considering I've liked all the other tracks I've heard from that time frame.

That's personal opinion and hate. His taste does not speak for all of us.

I agree.  As I said earlier, I highly doubt that any of the tracks that were supposed to be on there could even remotely be considered garbage , considering all the leaked tracks from that era have been great, in my opinion.  Not sure if Kronik was hating, but calling those tracks garbage was definitely his opinion.  And somehow I doubt I would agree if I ever get the opportunity to hear them.
