Naw not Against The Grain because the recording dates for those tracks are 04. Boss Me Up and Frontline were recorded 1/3/02, same day as I'm Back. All the leaked Say Hi To Bad Guy tracks were recorded in 02.

If you think about it though, it's possible that those songs were for an earlier recording of Against Tha Grain being that it was supposed to originally come out in 2004. It's only logical that between '02 and '04 that he would be recording for this project, no?

I follow the logic but I'm thinking the '02 tracks started as something else but that's just my opinion though.

-never 2 feature tracks after each other

-never 2 ray j songs after each other

-around every rayj track a song with a female or different singer(Sisquo)

-the beginning of the album has to be powerfull, fresh and cool solo material but not too hardcore or underground

-tracks 3 and 4 are more relaxed songs with some little emotion and reality touch (4)

-take the title got a great hardcore beat but sounds the best when its surrounded by different styles

-6 and 7 should be commercial party tracks

-8 and 9 gangsta songs

-10 and 11 emotional.....10 a more westcoast song while 11 a woman track

-12 another relaxed track

-the last track should be emotional followed by a gangsta outro thats too agressive for the beginning

 I like your rules.  They seem like good ones.  Unfortunately, it seems like you put more thought into this than Suge Knight did. lol  For some reason, he put some combination of Ray J, Eastwood, Gangsta Girl, Gangxta Ridd, or Kurupt on almost every track that's leaked.  And while I'm sure that all of them wouldn't have appeared on every track of the final version of "Say Hi to the Bad Guy,"  had it ever been released, it's difficult to arrange the tracks in the kind of order you're talking about, when the only tracks we have to work with, mostly include these kind of features.

Well, the OG version of the "Against Tha Grain" album was supposed to come out in 2002 under the name "Back In Lane". I don't know if that's 100% true but that's what I've heard..

i feel you ..it hurts to leave out lala and a few others....but my tracklist is so perfect that i can forget about that!!
Its not just a million rules...its that every song is where it should be and still following the rulez

Its not a coincidence that the very good but more unspectular party tracks "Hoodstar and Suges west coast" are not at the very beginning (buT right after that where i need them)
....the first 5 tracks got more Power and make you feel liike you listen to a Dr Dre album
Its not a coincidence that Still tha Row is in the middle of the album AFTER the super gangsta track "Im So Crooked"
Its not a coincidence that super gangsta track "im So Crooked" IS after the more unspectular party tracks
Take the Title sounds perfect between 2 more positive tracks
