Lol how is it horribly written? It's in legal terms, it's not a novel. Some other interesting stuff is that her investors appeared to come up $2 million short on the payment and there originally was a big deal in place with Universal/Fontana but Lavi said she had to drop that deal and go with E1 because they were willing to put up the $2 million that they were short but under some strict terms, like if they defaulted on the agreement then E1 gains total control over the catalog. Then the investors took that $2 million E1 gave them which was supposed to be for operating costs to get the label going and withheld it from Lavi for her to use for the label. I'm not taking sides here, just summing up what it all says in the documents for those of you that didn't want to read it.I will say that these things make sense though. It explains why E1 demanded those 6 or 7 already released songs be on the box set unreleased discs, because E1 a good amount of control over the label since they loaned that 2 mill. It also makes sense why there was very little promotion for the albums, because Lavi wasnt given access to the necessary funds to do that. And there is no worldwide distribution because the deal with Universal had to fall through. Also the mastering issue may be due to her not having the funds to go to Bernie Grundam (sp?) to make it happen. Just some food for thought.

Also the mastering issue may be due to her not having the funds to go to Bernie Grundam (sp?) to make it happen. Just some food for thought. They went to Bernie on the first release (Re-Lit), and didn't do it on subsequent releases. It's not the mastering that's the entire problem, it's the mixing. There's a MAJOR difference between mixing and mastering. Mastering can't save an album that sounds like it's been done in a trash can. Lara easily could have done promotion with the funds she was getting paid, and the funds she was embezzling from the company. I know for less than $700 dollars a month - WIDEawake could have made Rolling Stones, VIBE, XXL, etc. because I even sent press people up there to assist WIDEawake who could have easily done that. Lara's shit is all bullshit, and they do get it if they default, at least she and her lawyer were honest on that. Also, I wouldn't even go through Fontana. You got a better chance with KOCH because mind you Fontana does small time distribution for people like Daz, Kurupt, J Wells, Global Music Group, etc. KOCH was the smarter move, plus if they did it right - they could earn the money back. The thing is, Lara tells so many lies - it's hard to tell what's fact and what's fiction. She spent her time at WIDEawake trying to be famous, and what happened was she did but she ended up fucking herself. She lost her job, went to jail (there's no other reason you would need bond, I have been in and out of the court system), and wrecked her marriage and public image. Also, it's Bernie Grundman not Grundam.
