after the first listen, it's really dissapointing to me..
snoop keeps on following every mothafuckin' trend the industry have..
beats ain't funky no more, it sounds like all the other plastic pop shit, that's popular..
really sad because i think one of the reasons that snoop was on the top for so long was that he always was original. even on "R&G" he was original, no harcore gangsta themes but still funky beats, mellow stuff and good music.
but "malice" is really fuck. i was hopin' "ego trippin" was the only big musical mistake, he make in the next years.
oh yeah, for show there is one good song on the album..."secrets" ... snoop should have sound his whole album like this. kokane and battlecat...that is a example how to do it...don't quit doing funk, snoop. just try to pimp it for today. that always worked...the funk will never die!
