damn its crazy tho a majority of the people in this thread agree that battle cat's production sounds the same which is why i think hes never maybe gotten the credit or blown up as a producer vs others

Battlecat has never been one of my favourites, he's indeed a good producer but a good portion of his material I've heard has sounded the same to me.

I've got to quote you, I used to think he was almost the best but no, his beats always sound the same... they used to be dope, but he should change.

If it aint broke why fix it 
BC got that signature sound and it cant get more westcoast than that

BattleCat has definitely a signature sound but overall he is versatile, Quik's beats also have a strong signature, Dre as well; it's better to have this kind of sound rather that BC screaming on the tracks lol!

After this I agree with Soopa, you don't change a winning team, I'd rather listen new material which sounds somehow similarly to the old songs but feels good, rather than a brand new sound which comes up disapointing.

And I also agree on this point : You can't get more WestCoast than Dj BattleCat.

i knew some would take it as others sayin battle cat is wack
ont think anyone sayin hes wack...jus sayin his style is simple and not complicated compared to others
its competition and he has his own sound but alot of it isnt good enough for albums it seems like
and then  you have a dope producer like quik that doesnt do enough work
quik at his best could outshine battle cat and others, but he jus doesnt
