New west rappers that remind u of old west rappers
« on: December 23, 2009, 06:00:07 PM »
I always hear people on this board saying the new west rappers are watered down version of the 90's west rappers alot. So im just curious what new west rappers remind you of west coast rappers from the 90's. It could be musically, physically or otherwise of course nipsey reminds me of snoop and roccett looks a little like pac to me. Just curious

Jay Rock tries to be like Pac with his content - he tries to be pro-socially aware with his material while maintaining a gangsta image.

It's really easy to see.  It's also why so many of them will never blow up.

It's just how I feel.  You bickering with me ain't going to change shit.

are u serious look at lyrical content jay rock takes a track makes a fuckin g ass west coast song....like tupac...then the next minute he flips another track to be inspirational and to have a message sorta like pac.

jay rocks flow is unmatched right now hes a fucking beast and could rap on any track much like pac's. i think hes got the subject matter of tupac and the flow of biggie with a street ass sounding voice.

oh u forgot about k.dot/kendrick lamar = kurupt fa sho
