Yeah, nothing wrong with this, this is just collaborating with what is hot

It's just like how on Doggystyle Snoop collab-ed with the biggest pop people at the time, with New Kids on the Block and Vanilla Ice all over his record

You guys remember New Kids on the Block all over Doggystyle right? That was tight.

Oh, wait a minute, that's right, it NEVER HAPPENED, because back then hip-hop artists didn't sell the fuck out and collab with whatever pile of shit was hot at the time

the difference is susan boyle can fukin sing. new kids and vanilla ice had no talent, this is a completely different story. she has a crazy voice that might sound interestin in a rap song if done right. call me crazy if u want but u gotta acknowledge that bitch can sing like nobodys business!

did anyone here actually watch the interview?

What do u expect him to say when the host asks him that question?

"nah f*ck that, I'm never gonna work with her etc etc"

he wasn't praying for it to happen or talking about how much he loves her work

... the host asked a question and he gave the typical answer.

LOL u r one clown-ass nigga, for real.. WHY do u ALWAYS get upset about who is collaboratin wit who? why do u care, why do u mind? if u dont like it, just listen to "Doggystyle", n ignore his later catalogue.. fuckin simple.. NO ARTIST, can make everybody happy.. in ur ideal perfect world, every artist u like, would oblige to the rules of the lyrics in Ice Cube's song "Who's the Mack?"..

LOl, debatin wit characters like u, reminds of the days when i used to ride on these sucker-ass niggas from the Apple, where they always got mad cause Nas or Guru was doin this song or dat song wit that artist or whatever..

THESE ARTISTS ARE EATIN, N THEY R EATIN BEACUSE THEY ARE DOIN SONGS WIT MAINSTREAM-ARTISTS. they are bossin up in the industry, by connecting dots wit industry-people.. dat old, none-relevant "keep it real"/"Dont sell out"-mentiality hasn't existed since the mid-90's, dats a syndrome dat still lives through a few 70's babies --- and i am guaranteing u this - if Lil' Wayne or whatever "corny" artist would call Crooked I or MF Doom (for example) up on the phone askin for a 16, he would jump on dat muffuca faster than a 35-year old hiphop-fan would pick up "Illmatic" in a record-store.. LOL, even Talib Kweli did a song wit Justin Timberlake

u know why?
beacuse the MONEY TALKS, NOT THE FANS BULLSHIT-ASS OPPINIONS

n some einstein was sayin dat back in the early 90's snoopy wouldn't do this or dat wit New Kids On the Block, woot woot, yaddi--
lemme tell u this - back in the eraly 90's Hip Hop was far from bein the biggest genre of music, n far from what it is today - white artists WASN'T lookin for features from Snoop Doggy Dogg, Dr. Dre like they are today - BUTcollaborations like dat actually did happen during those years - Snoop was doin a song wit Kris Kross, and Dre was producin a song for british Disney-pop sensation The Party.. so basicaly, if Backstreet Boys would've asked for a beat from André Young back in 94, it surely would've happened..real talk

money and industy-presence is the most important thing for an artist (whether it's because of a label-decision or beacuse of the artist's own interest), and outweighs always everything..

if these haters don't like it, just visit a old record-store n pick up some "Illmatics", "Reasonable Doubts", "Ready Or Dies's", "Doggysytle's" for a few bucks, and listen to dat..

Artists do not have to sell out or work with whoever is the hottest mainstream act at the time to achieve good sales, or make decent money. That is always the defense though for these unlikeable moves, that money walks etc. The fact is, that there is more money to be drawn up from TV and advertisements than what there is from music sales these days even with the hottest act on your music at that time. The problem isn't her singing talent, it's about where she came from. If anyone read Stings comments on the entire X-Factor brand then they would also agree if they had an ounce of respect for the music industry!!

Fans have exhausted their Doggystyle and Illmatic albums way beyond now, and want some new "worth-the-money" material. It isn't a lot to ask for, seeing as how a large amount of fans (excluding the pop fans) lined their pockets very well with their old style. They aint asking for another album of equal value, or for it to have the same impact significance in Hip Hop, but they would at least like an album solid through and through, another Last Meal, or Stillmatic, something which didn't require skipping half the album due to its repetitive or weak structure.. Us rap fans are pretty versatile when it comes to music. We have albums from both 2Pac/Biggie, we have all style of rap in our CD collections. We can tolerate a lot, but what we wont stand for or support is weak music, or trashy decisions. Had some of the bigger rap artists today listened to the same fans and delivered, they wouldn't be stuck having to make dreadful moves with comical contestant show participants and be forced to decompose their integrity, and humiliate themselves for a few quick bucks..

Snoop Dogg with his unfortunate contractual arrangement made more money in 2000, than what he did in 2006!
