We'd have a MUCH better chance of coming back to the limelight.

This dude was not afraid to take a chance, step outside the norm of common "westcoast music", and he created what is one of the best/most innovative projects I've heard in awhile.

Give him 2 months and you're gonna be hearing a lot more about this dude in the national spotlight.

If y'all haven't heard the "Kendrick Lamar EP," do yourself a favor!!!

That EP of his is not bad, but it's not much different from a lot of other underground hip hop. It didn't stand out for me personally.

i don't think he meant take his style exactly, but just to step outside the box a little. kendrick lamar put his heart into his album and you can tell, whether you like him or not.

Enigma actually came up with an interesting thought but this thread has gone to shit thanks to some of you idiots.
You dont have to like Kendrick Lamar to see his talent and recognize that he's bringing some freshness to the table.
So I definitely agree, I do wish other artists would follow his footsteps and try something new. Nobody's talkiing about copying him or duplicating his style.
