Dre had just left Death Row earlier that year, so I'm guessing his comments were based on things that Daz, J. Flexx and probably even Pac were saying in interviews and on records about him stealing beats, taking credit, etc.

Yeah even with tha outro of that song, Dre was taking shots at Death Row. Dre wasn't with all of that whole Death Row/Bad Boy beef aka tha East/West Coast beef. He just left Death Row, he wasn't with tha gangsta shit no more, some people at Death Row was dissin' him. Whether it was tha issue about tha credits, Dre not doing as much production, or makin' Dre look like he's weak; he wasn't sweatin' that shit. Then again, maybe he later on. Dre did later throw jabs at Death Row on later records like tha 'Chronic 2001' album.

all them songs u listed except for street dreams, pac intentionally took them. All Eyes On Me was recorded before street dreams, nas jacked the sample. For Troublesome 96, Peep the House Of Blues DVD, ''I'm going to diss this nigga on his own beat!'' and as for toss it up, dre produced the og, but when he left dr , they had another producer make a similar beat. The outro is something like ''yeh no doubt! How can a non player make a song about bitches! Yeh i took that shit, cuz u weren't rocking it right. Me And My Girlfriend was inspired by I Gave You Power, check the making of the 7 day theory. All them artists loved taking from tha don.
