That's nice but they give basically 4 mics for every mainstream album.

ya, 4/5mics or 8/10 seems to be the very typical review/rating for a mainstream album

What did they rate souljaboytellem.com, and other wack albums? Ratings from magazines does not define a good album. It simply means that "they" rate it that spesific rating, and being a main Hip Hop magazine selling to a wide audience creates the likelihood of being open to be paid ratings from big labels on their upcoming/current releases, which is why a large majority of mainstream albums receive 4/5 mics. Anyone with an ounce of intelligence can grasp that marketing method for what it is!!!

I don't read any Hip Hop magazines, as I think it's a pimped out genre, and I refuse to pay money to riffle through pages and pages of BS ad's for wigger wear and garbage, artists like Gucci & Bow Wow, photo shoots of Slim Thug, and other mind numbing crap, to see the 1/2 pages worth reading. The Hip Hop magazines have got as bad as the mainstream Hip Hop music

Secrets was good. I liked Different Languages as well, which was the highlight of the album. The rest was wack IMO. Gangsta Luv could have been alright, but it sounded too modernly commercialized all auto-tuned out. I'd give it 2 mics at the most, and that's being generous
