There is more to Ice Cube then just gangsta rap. And barring a couple tracks on Raw Footage there was nothing commerical about that album. LNCL for the most part either.

Cube wasn't always about Lyrics, he was more about painting a picture, stories. Got to remember he was a West rapper, and ours were more blunt and not as complexed, but the message and meaning was way clearer. Besides he was already in 2 groups (Lynch mob, and Westside connection).

If there was a group were its nothing but political rap, Cube have to be in it just on the grounds of his first 3 albums.
