There's no one answer or person to such question.

Hates will deny Dre, but he forever still the most relevant, most longevity the west ever had. Haters will hate but Dre is bigger than the west. No artist, from the east, west, or south has accomplished more than Dr. Dre. You deny that you're a hater. Period!
So common sense will make Biggest Icon of all time. Of course stupid sense will prevail all throughout this thread.

DJ Quick? LOL please, As much as quick is dope, the main ones is usually a N.W.A Member, or Snoop (Death Row especially) or 2pac. Honestly don't be amazed if 2pac gets put on there a ton. Ice T also has some standing, but his Iconic stature is normally limited to early Hiphop, and he wasn't really a force during west reign (with him going 2 body count).

Ice-T because he was the first to do the gangster rap! Secondly Eazy-E for bringing us N.W.A. Ice Cube used to rap like the beastie boys when he first started.

Biggest music icon? Dr Dre. He set musical trends

Biggest Icon? Tupac. People still talk about how he may be alive years and years after his death.

i'm going with Snoop Dogg.

Dre & Tupac are rap icons; meaning, most people (average hip hop/mainstream fan) associate these two with rap purely; like the first thing to come to mind when thinking about them is "both made HUGE IMPACTS in the rap game".

Snoop is still dropping albums, still throwing up the West & that's how he will be remembered; WESTCOAST BABY.

Pac will be remembered as the greatest ever & Dre will (sadly) be remembered as Eminem's producer; but no coast connected to them.

so the answer is Snoop if you're looking for poster boy of the West Coast.

if you just mean the biggiest icon that happens to be from the West, it's Pac, no question.

Ice Cube for me. Only Dre and 2Pac has had as much commercial AND critical influence on hip-hop as music and culture. Ice Cube has the controversy to rival 2pac aswell. The difference is...back in the day Ice Cube's lyrics held so much more weight, importance and influence on me as a kid growing up than 2Pac.

At his peak Ice Cube was the most important artist in hip-hop for a few years. His political lean also obviously sets him apart from Dre and Pac. Cube was deep on that, sometimes too deep!
