Did you really expect it to be scary? RE4 wasn't scary at all. I'm a huge RE fan and RE5 was a spit in the fans face for real. I'm not sayin' that it's a bad game, it's real good actually but it doesn't have that Resident Evil feelin' anymore at all. RE5 is an "action" game. If you were/are a fan of the first games i think you know what i mean.

The horror genre seems to be pretty much dead.Its a shame too because i always loved the survival horror genre.Their was tons of clones of re,i played them all.Anyway dead space is the best one on ps3.

Yeah, but in all fairness, I think Capcom played it smart. After Silent Hill came out, nobody was even looking at Resident Evil anymore for the horror aspect, so they decided to leave the horror genre and just go the action route. With the success of Resident Evil 4, I'd say they did the right move.

RE2 is one of the best games ever, and Resident Evil is the best game series ever. I still play all the old games every now and then.

I think the resident evil remake on the gamecube was easily the best one.All teh greatness of the first game,with much improved graphics and a few changes that made the game even creepier.Like when the zombies would come back to life and run as as fast as you even if you didnt burn their bodies or blow their heads off.That scared the shit out of me a few times when your walking by a body of a zombie and all of a sudden it jumps up and runsat you.
