big respect to kokane. he's speakin the real on this track. he keeps his music sounding authentially westcoast.

the south, the east, and gay rnb-rap has taken over the radioplay on the west, and all these westcoast rappers are shamelessly jumping on the bandwagon, and making music that dont sound westcoast. biggest culprits of this are warren and snoop. they are the pioneers of the westcoast, and are supposed to be setting the example for everybody else on the west, but instead they are sellin out themselves

[Detox Is A Myth!!!]

This is still the best song out right now.  Great smooth yet atmospheric beat.  Kokane bringing substance to his lyrics.  I applaud him for releasing a single with substance instead of gibberish.  How many artists are left with the guts to do that?    Really hits me emotionally, the message of this song.  Really great song.  Props to Kokane for maintaining his artistic integrity.  That's what it's all about imo -- artistic integrity.
