If it IS a diss, Drake would be better off not replying or worrying about it anyway. A popcorn bubblegum rapper like Drake does NOT want to get into a beef with a real emcee like Royce because itll only damage his career. Royce would murder him in a battle. Drake should ignore it.

And all this talk about who's a "real" mc and who's a "pop" rapper is stupid. Drake is making hit music left and right at the moment and flow wise yes, Royce showed him a thing or two but other than that Drake's version is better. It reminds me of back in 03-05 when 50 was making one hit after another and all these internet rappers hoped on it and everybody claimed how real they are and how they killed it. There's a big difference between writing a song that's most likely gonna become an international hit and just rapping without any structure.

I was talking specifically about these  types of "freestyling over others people beats" track but it's also known that only Death Is Certain was critically acclaimed out of all Royce's albums, the rest was meh, especially for somebody with his talent.
