I don't think Snoop could have made a better album with the producers he had...His flow and delivery was 10x better than Last Meal...But Last Meal had great beats...The sales are poor for Snoop, but Bone Thugs, Fat Joe and Busta would kill for 200k first weeks...

This is Snoop second best album IMO...It has a real good consistancy throughout.  Beautiful is going to be one of Snoops biggest singles ever.  Ill bank on that. Im feelin every track on the album except for "wasnt your fault" (sounds lazy and last meal type record).  Snoops got the best flow and delivery in rap right now.  IMO.  People who keep asking for another Doggystyle should wake up.  That album is ten years old.  WTF were yall expecting? Id rate this album a good 4.5/5.  It would be classic for sure if It was trimmed down to 15 or 16 tracks, and if he rapped over "Da boss..." Other than that, this album is tha shiznit!

no doubt that this album sucks...but i thougt snoop already had an album every snoop fan hated...the game is...that ones almost as bad as this one...and for some like myself...i hated the last meal..only because of kokan..but it at least had a couple classic tracks...stop making excuses...snoop needs to know that he cant keep making garbage and everyone buys it just cause its snoop

I really diddnt wanna post untill this whole snoop album stuff blew over but this is getting out of hand.  All the 200,000 means is Snoop lost pop appeal.  Jay-Z, Eminem, Nelly catz like that all have big amounts of Pop audience.  Snoop has been around for a long time, he's had some bad albums, bad movies, a murder case, so I think it's kinda crazy that he even sold that many records.  If you reallythink about Snoop sold the most rap records this week, besides the Eminem soundtrack.  Pac had a double disc so as long as he has over a 100 minutes than they count it twice.  half of 382 does not equal what snoop sold.
Another thing first week sales don't stand for the album.  Just cuz busta did not sale a 100,000 does not mean his album is weak, it just means young people aint tryna hear him no more.  Remember when a lot of these rappers came out we were young teens or younger,  these kids dont wanna hear snoop, they wanna hear Nelly, and shit like that.  The 200,000 peeps that bought the record were long time snoop fans, not new ones.
Snoop is old now,  when he was 19 he was making music for 19 year olds this album was made for older people,  I don't feel every song on the album  I think it has some real shitty songs, but I think it has some real strong ones to.  I thougt I wouldnt miss the Dre tracks but I do.  Kinda Like I I miss the Premo tracks from Nas God Son.

I agree with the post but the Pac thing is innaccurate..that is the honest amount of units he pushed--its not doubled.

And again.. to paraphrase Jay Z "The only one pushin units is me, Pimp Juice, and Em"

"WE" dont wants another doggystyle, stop with this bullshit please!
TOP DOGG is not like doggystyle but is a fuckin tight album,i thought LAST MEAL was a very mediocre album but when i've listen several times to this new one,LAST MEAL is a 5 mics album compared with this album.
AGAIN,the best tracks of this album are from the first advance:

*For real (prod. by meech wells)
*Pimp On (prod.by fred wreck feat.eastsidaz)
*Twenty minutes part II
*Doin it too (feat.soopafòy)
*Its the D.o.g.
*Just cant take it
*Tell Me What U Really Want

And honestly NOBACKTRACKIN (from the last meal prmo) is at least 10 TIMES BETTER than "the one and only".
-The meech wells beat is HUGE
-Snoop comes tighter
-George clinton on the hook is awesome
Is one of the best snoop's songs ever and guess what ? It still unreleased  ::)
