my man, Stephen Strasburg has been LIGHTS OUT all spring so far.

it's a shame he won't be on the mound for the Nats opening day.

we could be looking at someone real special, future 300 game winner & countless Cy Young winner.

i know that's a lot of stock to put into a kid who threw some innings in Spring Training, but i got a feeling about this kid.

How bout's Kris Benson, or Ben McDonald.  Both were bananas in college, MCDonald esp.

You also forgot Paul Wilson and Andy Benes.  But besides Benes who had a respectable career all three of those guys were either rushed or handled poorly and had careers derailed by the injury bug.  Though McDonald was a beast when he came up.  But cham makes his blanket statement like pitching talents like Strasberg are taken with the first pick in the draft every year.

LMFAO.  You didn't realized so few pitchers with similar hype have been taking in the first round in the draft.  But if you want to go all players that were first round picks, Griffey, Arod, Josh Hamilton, Justin Upton, and Joe Mauer have been pegged as future stars before every playing a pro game.  Try again Cham.
