Imo no one can ever replace Nate Dogg but with his condition and all slowly getting better I don't know if he will ever get that chance to shine like he did when he started doing hooks for everybody.

Kokane seems to be coming back slowly and will always be known for one of the best hook master from the West.

I think Butch was pretty good at 1st but then imo he seemed to get to cocky and I haven't liked any of his shit since he stopped fucking with Tha Eastsidaz and all them.

Oh yeah Bo Rock is good too but I aint heard from him in a long time.

Nobody can't fuck with Nate Dogg, that's for sure but after him i'd say that Butch Cassidy and Kokane are the only one that come close.

dont take this the wrong way...as much as i respect nate doggs enormous contribution to west coast music, i have always found him to be overrated..i dont find he sings that well...you ever see a live performance? i hope he gets better though and does what he loves..

with that said, ima have to go with kokane...

Bo Roc has his solo out since March 9th. Check the thread! He's a dope singer. After Nate i would put kokane, bo roc and butch cassidy.

Some people talking about Nate singing live, i never had the chance to see him ( did he ever went to Europe? don't think so) but i often have a weird impression on his lives, like the mic is fucked up or something.

Just check his solo work, one more day, brown skin...   he definitely knows how to sing!

And XL Middleton is not an outstanding vocalist but he definately got the melodies!

Nate is best, then comes Kokane -> Butch Cassidy -> L.V.. and at last Kobe is doin good job, but thats it for me, these are the ones im always waitin to drop the hook
