levetti from the bay area who used to be on e-40 and the click albums,to me he is the most overlooked forgotten artist of all time nobody talks about and gives respect to,he was the bay area nate dogg in the 90's i don't know what happened to him, and i think at this presents time who i think is the dopest hookmaster is matt blaque from frisco.

Yo I've been fortunate enough to here some of the homies Clinton Waynes hooks and I thought dude could do anything due to his versatility but to be honest his hooks have improved greatly!!!!! Waiting patiently for desert eagle!!!

I dl'd his mixtape and there are songs on it where he doesn't use it. Took a quick look to find one of them on YouTube but couldn't find them. So the truthis out there! :D

Kokane seems to be coming back slowly and will always be known for one of the best hook master from the West.

I think Butch was pretty good at 1st but then imo he seemed to get to cocky and I haven't liked any of his shit since he stopped fucking with Tha Eastsidaz and all them.

Oh yeah Bo Rock is good too but I aint heard from him in a long time.

Nate Dogg is all time best but Butch is the shit right now ("so gangsta" - "all i see" = classic for me), he should have the same recognition as Nate sooner or later. Bo Roc is OK too

I think my favorite hook singer after Nate is definitely Lil Half Dead but then you got plenty killers such as Mike Marshall, Butch Cassidy, Bokie Loc, Kokane, Blaqthoven, Jelly Roll...
