Murrow:
Amir
Image of My Mind
Bungalo Records
Early 2003

DJ Quik also talked on Amir, he said "I was in a studio with Butch, and Amir was in another session and he opened up the possibility of doing some production. So we talked a little bit and he was hungry, and I listened to his projects and it was another kind of music for me, the whole Persian and Arabic thing".
It was through Amir that DJ Quik discovered the sample for "Addictive", Truth Hurts hit-single!
We can expect big things from Amir, who because of his skin color will naturally be compared to Eminem. Amir also has songs with controversial lyrics on his debut album "Images of My Mind" (due early 2003), tracks like "Bombs Over Saddam", "What's My Life Worth" and "Bloody Murder". Erick Sermon also produced a cut for Amir, called "My Life Is Done", which is a kind of autobiography, which explains how he was getting into trouble and his youth.

LyRiCaL_G:
is this guy dope?

Lord Funk:
I haven't heard a word spit by this guy yet, but I'd trust Quik's musical taste enough to say that dude must be doing something right to get Q's attention. Anyone else have any other news about his album, or where we can hear anything already out??

Woodrow:
He's REALLY fresh IMO

Check out http://www.dj-quik.net for an interview soon and more info on him. His first single "Slipped on Da ice" is up in the archives. You can hear it there. September 20th I think

Woodrow:
The interview is up along with an album sampler.

The real name of the album is: IMAGE of my mind, not S on the end
