Which records came out of doggystyle records??
« on: April 02, 2010, 02:41:37 PM »
Just watched "welcome to tha house the doggumentary dvd" from 2002, supposely to introduce the people to blow on doggystyle: e-white, kokane, latoiya williams and soopafly. None of them had a record on doggystyle right?? So what records came out?? i know some compilations or the doggy's angesl.. They had some fire on this dvd, snoop was like "this label is a dream coming true, i'm gonna sign all the talented people i've known since a long time, gonna do a family thing bla bla bla".

What happened?

Off top I know The 2 Eastsidaz albums, Doggys Angels, Bad Azz's Personal Business album, Bones Soundtrack. There was supposed to be a Kurupt solo but he went back to Death Row instead lol.

Actually Bad Azz's album wasn't released on Doggystyle.

Quote
I knew I could have it, and I went back thats how we got the Doggystyle stamp on it. It wasn't on Doggystyle, but for the public and for the people that know that me and Snoop are affiliated and I'm his protege, I needed that like that, I needed it to be Doggystyle/Priority, where they like "Yo you on Dogghouse?" "Yeah! I'm wit the House! I never went nowhere!" But I wasn't signed with them contractually, you know?

Basically a lot of snoop dogg records... A shame Kokane, Latoiya Williams, Lil'Half Dead, E-white and more than everybody Butch Cassidy never drop a solo.

I think doggystyle, with all the talent there, could have been a major label instead of just "Snoop's thing"...

In my opinion doggystyle affiliates (at the time)> aftermath/interscope affiliates

And wassup with latoiya and lil half dead? Anybody has SOLID news about them??
