what tracks on lax was really dope lyrically?lol
i agree...game comes withn a new look on each album single wise..this is some old school shit and game put it as his street single he knows it's interesting to hear and he always talks about reinventing himself on each album. Production and flow wise he does but not neccessarily lyrically different with the exception to a few real dope lyrical songs he had on LAX. This is definitely the finished version they just wanted to throw it back to like some old west coast simple shit Quote from: I LUV IT WHEN YOU HATE ME...THAT SHIT MOTIVATES ME!!! on April 14, 2010, 09:22:21 AMits "dope" cuz it was somethin new...and much better than this, games pain, all my life, one blood, hate it or love it etc...Quote from: Gamestarr on April 14, 2010, 07:27:10 AMOh had no idea other people felt the same way as me about Dope Boys. Good to hear that! lol.Can you multi quote/reply here somehow?

Quote from: rapsodie sees the bitch in you on April 14, 2010, 02:15:07 AMReally dudes?? This is how far y'all have fallen? I remember a year ago a track would come out like this and dubcc would jump to label it trash, especially if its by an artist you don't like. But now cause its Game, the great west hope you are calling it dope. Smh....Shit is weak by any standards. if you read carefully, you'll see that the responses are mixed

Dope Boyz was and still is ass. Tried too hard to create a jay-z song. LAX was wack with the exception of a track or two. I'll say this is already better than most of LAX.
Quote from: From Dre-Day to Helter Skelter on April 14, 2010, 12:48:10 AMnot really street to me.I'd like to know what's "street" to you. Even if you don't like this, it's a street song. Lyrically & production wise. Clearly they're not thinking this will be a huge mainstream radio hit.I don't know what the hell you were expecting from Pharrell, this is what he does. Beat is kinda simple but still dope imo. Game's not the best rapper lyrically but this is that street shit he can do. I wasn't expecting multisyllables & metaphors from Game. This is nothing amazing but definitely album material, which I can't say about the other "leaks" from RED. I can see why someone wouldn't like this but I like it.
Dope boys = shit hook and boring beateven travis couldnt save it
My ears still hurt like a muthafucka after listen to this garbage ass beat and this awful hook..WTF was this shit
