Dubcnn Exclusive Interview With Danny Boy - By : Mil - April 15, 2010

Born in Chicago, R'n'B singer Danny Boy was thrust into the limelight from an early age signing to Death Row Records. Making his debut on the Murder Was The Case soundtrack, Danny Boy was announced to the world as the next star in the making.

Having recorded songs with the likes of 2Pac, Tha Dogg Pound, Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes and following the roller coaster ride that is Death Row from its peak to its ultimate demise, Danny Boy has seen it all.

Finally set to release his long overdue debut album, Dubcnn's Todd Davis got to chat with Danny Boy about a number of topics including whats been holding him back from releasing his album, his hiatus from the music industry, Death Row memories and of course his new album It's About Time.

Exclusive Interview With Danny Boy

It's About Time will be in stores April 20th via WIDEawake/Death Row Records. Be sure to show your support by purchasing a copy!

Nice read. Damn , had no idea Danny had jobs after the falling of DeathRow such as an electrician, security guard, waiter, mortician.

Not surprising. He declared bankruptcy in like 99 to get out of his Death Row contract.

Seems that most likely we will see another  danny boy release depending how well this release does. Which I think will do a little better than the previous wideAwake releases . Not to mention the 300 songs left n tha vault.. N him chosing the name for the  nxt album...
4/20 ....

I know ... jesus what a waste of talent. I want ot know more about the dannyboy/suge relationship.

the guy has some much talent, i refuse to believe there isnt a place for a guy like him in r&b even today. i hope he does well.
