I didn't say that I believe what Budden says, but if you had read my posts.. you wouldve noticed that the whole game feature wasn't his choice. so budden most definitely didn't pay that 90k.

this is getting useless.. could mods delete every post except the 1st & 2nd so someone can answer threadstarters question if someone actually knows something.

wasn't it already said that a Dre beat is like 250,000 or something (but free if your his prodigy or something like that)

and yet a lot of his beats that we hear are with people in his circle rapping over them.

Could it be that he priced himself out of the game, and thus we only hear his beats used by people close to him (who I guess got them at a lower price?).

I think that timbo, kanye west, and the neptunes (which is often just pharrell since chad has been MIA) charge around that number. But they are more likely to give you a radio single that reaches the top 40 than dre is, so maybe they are more expensive than dre at this point.

i remember raekwon saying for a while that he was 'in negotiations' with dre for the catalina and about me beats. why do i have a feeling that those two beats were like 30% of the budget for that album... damn he's lucky it sold well lol.

Ofc Joe Budden didn't pay.. his label paid. Ofc it could be the total cost of the track (game + producer) I think that it's less than that though.. but that's just what joey said..

They should've made that song a single to recoup that money. Shit is fire.
