You had the new Eminem album being announced, Game releasing his first street- singel from R.E.D, Hayes singel about to drop within two weeks... still no sign at all of the Dre & Hova track.

This make me think a bit about the Detox myth theory (that the album doesnīt excists). Dre announcing his singel is about to drop draws a lot of attention to him and the rest of the Aftermath rooster, and thatīs excactly whatīs happening right now. Although a new Eminem album promotes itself, cats like the newcomer Hayes needs all the publicity and hype he can get.

This is of course all speculation from my part, I just found it kind of weird that we are suddenly seeing all this activity from a label that drops 1 cd a year

Dre pulled the release of the single because there was no buzz outside of hiphop websites.

One major reason I think Hayes has a much more higher chance of being realesed is the split deal with Timbaland.  The second reason his image is essentially a cross between 50 & Bishop Lamont - i.e he presents gangsta material but does it in a manner that reflects choices and their consequences.  His music, to date, has walked a thin line of judgement as well.   So, he's much more easier to sell than Bishop Lamont (who I never thought was a hard sell in the first place).
