back in the day, it probably mattered, but now with all the books and even SCHOOLS, people can grow the bomb pretty much anywhere in the world. 

all the old school growers are spread out over cali, canada and amsterdam, so i dont think you can specifically say that X place has the best herb....of course that wont stop people from arguing about it.

but if were just talking about the US, then yeah, cali had the best.  i mean, the Emerald Triangle, the bay, the valley, LA....all these places produce some of the best herb around.  not to mention the amount that is grown out here for the dispensaries and clubs.
