Probably since like 10 more people have left Infinty Ward since these two got fired but it doesn't really matter, MW2 sucked balls and they've already created a new studio in partnership with EA. They'll end up making another FPS kinda like when they stopped doing the Medal Of Honour series back in the day and created Infinity Ward to make COD, only difference will be that this one will probably be a Sci-Fi shooter to rival Halo

EA won't release the new COD cause Activision owns it, they'll just make a new game, likely to be a FPS since thats all they've done before

Just because people that worked on the game left doesnt meant the end of a series.Activision owns the franchise and no doubt they will make another game with different people.You think the same people that made the first resident evil made resident evil 5 lol.Theirs no way they dead this series when the game will sell a million copies on name alone.

Yeah, but each COD that hasn't been made by the IW crowd has been crap and not to their standards. It's going to be interesting to see what kind of game the IW developers make under Respawn Entertainment. I am definately not going to support Activation's newer COD, since I didn't even support it when Treyarch would make it.
