DUBCNN: Curtis Young Readies Debut Album for This Summer
« on: April 22, 2010, 08:34:20 AM »
When you're the son of a legendary rapper/producer and one of the forefathers of Rap music, who has been celebrated and respected in his field for more than 20 years, it's natural that you'd want to follow in his footsteps.

Curtis Young, son of super producer Dr. Dre, is ready to continue his father's legacy because it is not only a desire, it is his destiny.

"People can expect a new trendy look from me. I represent a new era of positive feel good music for the West Coast -- I am a new generation of Left Coast artists who can not only rap but produce as well. In the future, my company Young Entertainment Inc, will set high standards and create another element for the Hip-Hop world so get familiar!"

With the release of a handful local mixtapes, Young has generated a heavy buzz that has the streets anticipating the summer release of his debut album, "Product Of My DNA."

"For my debut album, you can expect to learn about the making of Curtis Young. The story of actually becoming a product of society. People can expect to hear the true meaning of 'Product Of My DNA' that will let people know who Curtis Young is and how I learned about my father, Dr. Dre."

Is Dre branding this kid? Or is the kid just using Dre's one night stand as a career launch?

his recent track sounded dope but his old stuff was aight
Cool breeze; I'm hopping out of new Beams
My outfit ran me a few G's but none of that will matter if you leave
I used to be an Adam with two Eves and shawtys automatically do me
Excuse me, all that happened before you doesn't matter
I'm a vision of the future climbing the success ladder
Recline, in the mean time, twenty three shine, diamond bling blind as I rewind
