Paid The Cost....

Although, NL Top Dogg, The Last Meal, and Doggfather are all about the same level as Paid The Cost.

This is quite difficult. All of them can't stand up to doggystyle, but I' go for tha last meal. However it's difficult to separate it from tha doggfather, no limit top dogg, & paid tha cost (yes, imo it's very good).

tha doggfather wasn't as bad as the mainstream thought, however- snoop's lyrics were dope, his flows were on most part good. However, his vocals wherere awful, on some tracks i could barely hear what he was saying. The production was patchy as well- there were really good beats (OJ wake up, blueberry, goldrush etc), but some poor ones which didn't fit snoop's voice (doggyland, snoop bounce etc). The album like all others was too long, but did have good guest appearances.

NL Top Dogg IMO was slightly better than tha doggfather, but wasn't well put together. the production overall was better, it fitted with snoops voice which was much better than tha doggfather. Dre n snoops return was a highlight. The bad points- too long, wasn't well putput together as well as doggfather, his flow wasn't consistant, crappy dedication songs (I love my /lovemomma, somthin' bout ya bidness). His lyrics weren't as good.

Tha last meal was better than top dogg because, it had more dre tracks, the production overall was excellent, good guest appearances. The album was probably the best put together. Snoops lyrics were very good, and his flows on most part were good, but his vocals were inconsistent- half was good, the other half was poor. His lyrics were more personal which was good. The bad points were again it was too long, some poorer tracks could have been left off, and as mentioned his inconsistant vocals.

PTCTBTB- was imo also very good for differnent reasons. This album gave us the snoop that I wanted since doggystyle- mostly overall his flow was consistantly dope, his lyrics were good (for snoop lyrics), but most importantly he was much improved in terms of vocal delivery which is snoops main asset. The topic matter was diverse as well which was good. The production was very good on most part, but some of the production wasn't very good. The production wasn't west coast orientated which was the main problem, it was too long (again), no dre, and it wasn't as well put together as tha last meal.

Overall tha last meal was his 2nd best.
