Shit Ice T is as big as them all, but as far as Intertanional hit records its the ones I mentioned.

Ice T does have respect though, hell he's as well known. 5 is hard to pick.

All I know is coming from the UK, "Regulate" introduced me to West Coast music because it got the UK hooked in 94, more than any Ice T, Cube or Dre record. Commercially Warren and Nate stole the show internationally. That motherfucker carried on too, hit after hit on Radio, he had sell out shows in London in 95 and 97.

The key is the word ARTIST! It's not top 5 rappers, or top 5 producers, it's ARTIST, which means all around artist. So I will name the top 5 in order, and I voted for my number 1.

1. Dr. Dre - the top all around artist on the westcoast. Best producer ever, raps in some songs, knows how to control the tempo of an album. Dr. Dre hands down.
2. 2Pac - Most poetic rapper ever, and the standard for which all left coast artist are judged. Top acting skills too..
3. Ice Cube - Best rapper the west ever produced, and one of the best actors.
4. Snoop Dogg - The king of the west is also the one who defines the sound of the west. Snoop even tried some producing, key word TRIED.
5. DJ Quik - the ultimate rapper/producer all in one. Quik gives Dre a run for his money at number 1.

You are a fucking dumbass. The Game is not soon to be the most popular west coast rapper of all time. His sales don't show that. Nothing shows that. He isn't that popular anymore, and really even at his peak of popularity he wasn't THAT BIG. The Game was a big artist for about 3 years. Now, not so much. His singles aren't doing well, his last album didn't sell that well. His career is basically mirroring 50 Cents, two big albums, one not so great album, then mediocrity. The Game isn't going to sell 500,000 albums first week. Also, you can't equate popularity with sales. Snoop is more popular then Game is right now, even though Game's newest album will sell more. The Game sucks. He isn't that popular anymore. He had a good run, couple years, now it's over. And all in all, his career wasn't that successful. Sure he sold a few million albums with A LOT of help, but what has the Game given back?

Who has Game made big? No one. The Game's impact on rap music, is minimal. He didn't start anything new, he didn't launch any artists, he didn't have a unique style. The Game didn't progress west coast music. All he did was copy what came before and prolonged the enviable. He hasn't helped the west coast like guys like Snoop, or Dre, or Quik or E-40 have. They all created their own genre, Game hasn't created anything. He has no legacy. No impact. He's a nobody.
