After giving it a couple more spins I think that the best word to describe it would be "safe". It's a safe single, he's not sayin much, he's not doing accents, he's not spittin but he's giving us a more mature Em under a decent beat. I dig it but I expect a lot more from the album.

His introspection, articulation and delivery gives much more than a 100 lame predictable punch lines. Which is why lyrically, at least to me he is more compelling than vitually any other rapper.

with so many different producers & all having different sounds, he said the perfect word, "variety"; sounds like it'll be a good mix.

he said he trashed some songs from Relapse 2 though; i want to hear them; he should leak them.

Relapse was a very dope album, EM showing he has no conviction by turning his back on his own work because some people didn't like Relapse

 I really liked "Relapse" too.  In a way, I think Em is caving in to the fan response on this one.  Don't get me wrong, I think it's good that he listens to feedback from his fans.  But he could have lost the accent for this album and still stood by the creative decision to use it on "Relapse."
