I was surprised not to see Artest on the 2nd team. Dude worked his ass off this year (lord knows he didn't on offense :-X).

say that when LeBron gets 5 in a row...LOL. Honestly, though, LeBron's defense is still shakey in some aspects. He has trouble staying in front of his opponent at times and isn't really known as a lockdown defender who can shut you down at will...I think his weakside blocks and steals really make people boost his status as a defender a whole lot...No way should he be on the first team over the likes of Josh Smith, let alone Ron Artest, who strangely enough didn't even make the 2nd team (and Varaejo did LMAO). Same goes for Wade, I can list a handful of NBA players who should make the 2nd team over Wade.

lebron has twice as many MVP trophies as Kobe Bryant

you can control those, you can't control rings  (ask Ewing, Stockton, Malone and Barkley)

^ MVP voting is bullshit though, not saying Lebron didn't deserve it this year, but the fact that Steve Nash won two in a row when Kobe was CLEARLY the best player in the league makes me seriously question the awards credibility.

7even, your analysis is horrible. Who can lock an opposing player down better than Kobe can?

Yall call me a Kobe groupie, but this German kid gets hard over the Kobe/Lakers doing bad..must have erectile dysfunction by now.

It's not about what you can do, it's about what you do.

Kobe's defense in the regular season has been lackadaisical. He rarely tries to block a shot, gambles on steals and leaves bad players open. Do you even watch the games?

LOL, i know most Laker groupies will just simply say "it holds no weight".

but i was watching ESPN today & the analysts were questioning why Kobe was named to the first team; they said Wade is a better defender.

they went on to say Josh Smith should be on it over LeBron, but only because they both couldn't put on it together because Wallace was a given.

 :D

you're an idiot, Kobe locks down players on a consistent basis. Did you see how the OKC-Laker series completely changed when Kobe was placed on Westbrook?...have YOU been watching your Lakers? seriously LOL
