« on: May 14, 2010, 01:55:23 AM »
Quick question I hope someone can answer. There is a track played I think at the end credits which isn't on the soundtrack..any ideas what it is? I'll try and post audio when I can. Thanks

Yeah, the soundtrack was kind of strange in how it was put together.  Here's a few things that caught my attention...

-"Pump, Pump" is played while he's in the club about to meet 2pac.  Since Death Row owned the rights to that song with it being on Snoop's album, I think it would of been dope if they had added it to the Above the Rim soundtrack since it's in the movies score.

-"Dog Pound 4 Life" was not on the Wall-Mart version of the album I bought back in summer 94 when it came out.  Maybe because mine was not Parental Advisory.  I later heard this song, on the Show and loved this track, yet when years later I heard the version of the song from Above the Rim, the beat was kind of lame, and it didn't have the energy it did in Russell Simmons documentary The Show

-"Pain" by 2pac, was a great song a lot of people, loved and it is played during the movies Score, I believe at the beginning.  Yet, for some strange reason the song is not on the CD yet it's on the cassette tape.  What the fuck is up with that?

-Then just the overall inconsistencies between the album and the Score.  With a lot of songs showing up on the album that weren't used in the movies Score, and vice versa.
Givin' respect to 2pac September 7th-13th The Day Hip-Hop Died
