I made a potential temporary edit to the thread title. Just in case lol.

Now if they both to go to the finals, Lakers will get some  revenge.

god i hope they do

offensively lakers are good, so are celtics, i think lakers are better actually...but where celtics comes up is defense pressure...they're good at putting pressure on other teams which makes them not make their baskets and most teams dont seem to be able to snap out of the drought.  Thats exacly what they did to laker 2 years ago and to cavs last series.  If lakers can manage to not give into their defense pressure, then yes i think lakers will take it.

Rondo is 10x better than 2 years ago and Fisher is an old fuck who has no business starting for a championship team.
Bryant is also not quite as dominant as 2 years ago. Neither are Garnett or Pierce. Allen doesn't seem to have lost too much, given the lack of athleticism in his game. Role player wise the Celtics and Lakers both turned it up a notch with the aquisitions of Artest and Sheed.

I think we have a series there.

lakers playin so much better D then they did in 08 so they could prolly stop the celtricks and we got ron artest if he comes up big we gon be good cuz ron gon be playin hungry he wants that ring bad then phil should remind pau bout how he was called soft and shit in the 08 finals and gasol gon need to play big

Yeah it looks like we're gonna have Celtics vs Lakers again. I think the Suns have a better shot then Orlando at this point...only because Orlando lost the first 2 games at home.  But unless the Suns somehow grow (not happening)....OR....they REALLY catch fire from 3....this series is over too. I think if it ends up being Boston and LA....it will be a much better series than the last meeting though. Rondo will definitely be the best player for the Celtics in that series.

Fisher won't guard Rondo so I don't know why people keep talking about that matchup

because both niggas are starting PGs for their teams and rondo is 100x better
who will guard rondo tho? bryant? fuck no, you need him on offense. artest could have guarded him well a few years ago, now? not so much.
the x-factor is ray allen. if he knocks them shots down like a motherfucker, lakers are in big trouble. if he sucks, celtics are.

Whoever guards him its going to be a problem. Kobe might be able to slow down Rondo a bit...but then that just creates a mismatch somewhere else with whoever Fisher is guarding...which would have to be Allen. Fisher will have a tough time chasing Allen all over the place...off of screens, etc. And Allen can still drive...so he will be able to take advantage of Fishers innability to recover on defense.

If I was the Lakers I would rather have Kobe stick Allen. Its gonna suck for the Lakers cus Kobe will have to chase him around so much...but its still probably best. Kobe is their most athletic player and might be able to take Allen out of his game which would be a big blow to the outside shooting of the Celtics. Rondo will kill Fisher, but Fisher will have a lot of help with the bigs down low. other then that matchup...there are a lot of good ones. Kobe/Allen....Artest/Pierce...Garnett/Gasol.

bynum/perkins
if drew can play in the finals and the knee is not much of a problem no big deal there plus perkins dont score much and is always in foul trouble
